Audrey’s first marathon took us to Berlin. Overwhelmed with pride that she trained for this while attending school, worked an internship over the summer, and holds a leadership position in her sorority that keeps her busy. What an amazing experience to walk her to the start and even run the first half mile with her. Fifteen monuments along the course with the finish line at Brandenburg Gate. Can’t leave out the fun crew that encouraged her to do this-Rod & Michelle Menzel, Matt & Chelsea Saeger, and my running and cheering partner Brandon Menzel. taken in Berlin, Germany by @kel.jones1

Honored a beautiful human and a beautiful friendship today. Joan Kannegaard passed on this day 1 year ago. She and my mom, Karen Collins walked 3.6 miles almost every day for over 40 years sharing their lives with each other as they logged miles and miles. I honored her by walking around Berlin with my daughter Audrey Jones who will run her first marathon tomorrow. Lorie Hills, thank you for including us. Joan, you are so loved and missed dearly❤️ taken in Berlin, Germany by @kel.jones1

Happy 80th Birthday to my beautiful mom💗
From the Persian Poet Hafiz-“Even after all this time, the sun never says to the earth, you owe me. Look what happens with a love like that, it lights the whole sky.”
I’m so grateful for your unconditional love. May the year ahead be blessed with good health and much needed levity and laughter. I love you💕 by @kel.jones1
