how can we grow & become sanctified over time without becoming self righteous and prideful ? That’s something I’ve been asking myself lately. If you’re thinking, “that could never be me” something I’ve learned is that thought in itself is self righteousness. That’s you beginning to believe that you are above someone else’s sin or struggle. By nature we are not righteous, and even though I may not party, drink, or smoke anymore that still doesn’t make me righteous. I am still an imperfect person with many other different struggles yet I thank God He is a God who doesn’t give up on us & He promises to continue the work that He started in us.

thank God for a healthy and able body that got me through this 10 mile race. I couldn’t have done it without l strength from the Lord, my support system and my run club @avrunwithfaith

I honestly surprised myself with this races PR, I had never ran more than 6 miles up until a couple weeks ago and I didn’t even know I was capable of running 10 miles nonstop most of the time when I run I stop to walk at least a few times but all I could do this race to keep myself running was be grateful

I honestly wouldn’t consider myself a “runner” I am just inspired by the opportunity to endure hard things, to do something that challenges me even when everything in me wants to stop 💛

Colorado 🎞️ & thoughts 💭

each year, I’m amazed and reminded of just how much God can do in such a short amount of time. Sometimes we get so caught up in where we are right now that we forget how quickly God can change our circumstances, open new doors, heal parts of us, and bring things into our lives that we never could have imagined. Our minds can convince us that what we’re experiencing right now is how it will always be, whether good or bad but everything is temporary, and God is always working, even when we can’t see it yet.

so don’t let the hard convince you it will always feel this way, and don’t take the good for granted either. 🤍 by @kel.zzz

This is a reminder for myself and for anyone who needs it today: God doesn’t need us in order to bring Himself glory, yet He chooses to use us.
He chooses to forgive us and to call us His own. He sees us as His daughters and sons & not as our past mistakes, our failures, or the sin we’re currently struggling with.

The enemy will try to make you feel as if you’re still a slave to sin, but what a privilege it is to know that once you accept Christ, you are forgiven through God’s grace. And although we may still struggle, we don’t have to live feeling chained by it because through His power, He is more than able to redeem every part of our story for His glory. 🤍

I have been struggling soo bad with feeling unmotivated idk if it’s the heat or discouragement but regardless of the excuse sometimes we really need to push ourselves & have people in our lives who are going to hold us accountable to our goals.

the word of God tells us so much about laziness and idleness and it tells us that it is a destructive habit sooo it’s time to get up and do something 👣

something I heard Eunice say this weekend that was soo true is to build a business that supports your life not a business that consumes your life — as an entrepreneur it can be so easy to get caught up pouring into the business that you love and have passion for that you forget all the other aspects of life that also need pouring into by @kel.zzz
