Over the last couple days ive cried and laughed going thru old pics and text messages. Woody just wasnt a hunting buddy to me. He was my one of my best friends. I could call on him for anything and not once did he ever tell me he couldn’t or wouldn’t get in the truck and tear out on an adventure. Life comes at you fast. Three months ago we were in Mexico having the times of our lives. Please pray for me and the Wilson family today as we lay my friend to rest. by @kelansamples

As i finally slow down and catch my breath the wild turkey has taken me places and made friendships that will last a lifetime. As many knew Weston had a ankle injury and has been on the sidelines all of turkey season and only got to hunt one time all season n i had to piggyback him that morn. So when he got released we headed to the Pacific northwest. Words can’t describe how much i enjoyed this trip with him n Tripp watching them grow into young turkey hunters and the laughs us dads enjoyed. Both were able to get their second grand slams on this trip. From starting in Mexico to the midwest to the Pacific northwest its been a hell of a ride and good lord willing will be ready to do it all over again next spring! by @kelansamples
