Loved presenting to my colleagues today about podcasting in the classroom! We had a half PD day where we could sign up for sessions taught by other teachers in our district ☺️

It was great to present about something I love and to have choice in what we received PD in!

Explaining CHAMPS! Super simple and you can make it fit your classroom and needs of your students ☺️ Shoutout to my mentor teacher for teaching me about CHAMPS 🤩

I feel like this needed a permanent place as an update on my feed— I’m so incredibly excited for this new chapter as an administrator! I can’t wait to work alongside amazing admin in my new school to serve our teachers and students. It will be a huge change from being in the classroom, but I know I’ll still get to make an impact, just in a different way 💛 I’m not sure what that means for this instagram, but I hope you stick around! Obsessed with my new @feltrightproducts hexagon design! It looks fantastic in my room and I can’t wait to pin up photos from throughout the year on it!

Felt Right is completely customizable to your space, not to mention fun to design. There are ENDLESS combinations. I love that it is easy to install, tackable, and absorbs sound!

Loving these headphones from @ailihen.headset on Amazon! They are comfortable, have a microphone, and fold to fit in my headphone storage. Linked in my bio 💛

I wanted a solution for simple storage at student tables that doesn’t take up too much space. These adhesive drawers are perfect for storing a few extra things my kids may need at their tables! Hopefully they’ll hold up this year! I have these drawers linked on my Amazon storefront in my bio ✨ by @kelciesclassroom

It’s been a long time since I’ve posted on here, but I have been so busy with the end of the school year, finishing up my admin cert, and EL Camp.

We had our largest camp yet this year with 175 students speaking 24 different languages, 20 teachers, and a counselor! After teaching 5th grade for EL Camp for two years, this year I was lucky to work on the administrative side as the assistant director of the camp. It was so incredible to work alongside all of the amazing teachers in this photo! They really do make camp magical for our students and I’m so thankful for them all 🥰💛 by @kelciesclassroom

We started our state testing today! So proud of my students and I’m always cheering them on, even if I can’t out loud 🤗

Love getting to play camp counselor for a few days each year with our fifth graders! Going to camp is always such a fun and special time. Our weather was perfect and the kids had a blast! We are ALL very tired out 😅 taken in Camp McDowell by @kelciesclassroom
