I got to sing some of my FAVORITE Burt Bacharach songs at the LIBRARY OF CONGRESS to celebrate the acquisition of his archive! I'm still blown away by the whole experience. Bacharach has always been a favorite of mine. I first discovered him through Dionne Warwick, and their collaboration changed my life. Long may his music echo in our hearts and minds! A million thanks to the incomparable Andy Einhorn (Mother!) for this incredible opportunity! ❤️

I don't post many of my photos. The research I've been doing on my family and the Great Dismal Swamp, and the art I've made in conversation with it has felt so deeply personal that I've been reluctant, and often afraid, to share. But the time has come. Slowly but surely, you'll be seeing and hearing more. We're ready.

1. Self-Portrait as George Dyer, my great grandfather. (Film: TMax400, Camera: Yashica Mat 124G. Film developed and darkroom print made at @hamiltonheightsdarkroom ). 2025
2. Archival photo of George Dyer, the "King of the Great Dismal Swamp" next to self-portrait. 1922; 2025.
