Down 2-0, the Bolts looked set,
But Kellam wasn’t finished yet.
Twenty seconds, two goals scored,
The Knights came roaring, crowd restored.

The Bolts watched as momentum swung,
While Kellam’s fight was far from done.
Into overtime the battle rolled,
Then came the winner calm and bold.

The final whistle filled the night,
State champions: the Kellam Knights.
From two goals down to lifting gold,
A comeback story forever told. 🏆⚔️🖤💛 by @kellammenssoccer

State Semifinal Showdown ⚽️🔥

Midlothian came out flying, finding the back of the net just 2 minutes into the match. But that early strike would be their only goal against a Kellam squad that proved why they would go on to become State Champions.

Kellam responded in dominant fashion, taking control and cruising to a 7-1 victory on their path to the title. 🏆 by @kellammenssoccer

Down 2-0 in the 2nd half, Kellam boys soccer scored two goals in a 20 second span, setting the stage for Kevin Arellano's overtime heroics. The senior found the back of the net in the first OT period, sending the Knights to a 3-2 win over Lightridge and Class 5 state title. by @kellammenssoccer

🏆 5A Boys Regional Final 🏆

The stage was set: #1 Hickory vs. #2 Kellam with a Regional Championship on the line. Kellam wasted no time making a statement, striking early and never looking back. ⚽🔥

Hickory battled until the very end, highlighted by an absolute rocket from Oliver Sparenberg that gets my vote for Goal of the Game. 💥 But despite the effort, the deficit proved too much to overcome.

When the final whistle sounded, Kellam claimed the Regional Title with a commanding 5-1 victory. 👑

Nothing but respect for both squads and the incredible seasons they've put together. Best of luck to Hickory and Kellam as they continue their State Tournament journey this week! 💪⚽ by @kellammenssoccer
