Happy anniversary to one of my all-time favorite albums! Thank you for soundtracking our lives @brandy! What a queen. I’ve been interviewing this icon for years and thought to mention this on our most recent conversation. (And yes, I still have this CD.) #Brandy #IWannaBeDown by @kelleylcarter

One thing this last twelve months has really taught me is that every birthday is a milestone. And every year should be celebrated, honored and acknowledged.

It’s truly a blessing to be able to wake up everyday, be with people you love, talk with people you love and do the thing that you absolutely love.

This former brownie is blessed beyond measure. And one thing I’ve REALLY learned about her lately is that you absolutely should never count her out. As incredible as this last year has been … I’m expecting more light, more love and more expected unexpected blessings.

Happy birthday to me. 9/20 🎂🥳🎁 by @kelleylcarter
