The past few days have been a gift.

So many times on this trip I just sat back, tears in my eyes, watching my two besties living in the moment. Finally taking in a full breath. Forgetting the pain of loss, the roller coaster of reality and just getting a chance to BE and have fun and remember who they are at their core.

I can’t think of anything more rewarding after 40+ years of friendship than getting to share this with them. My heart is full and happy. I’m excited for more days like these. Hopeful for what the future holds.

Spent an unforgettable few days in Minnesota with my family. Tried my first “dirty soda” and experienced the infamous Minnesota State Fair in all its glory. Met my newest great niece, Hazel Mae, and literally felt my heart expand. Sat passenger princess while my niece @kate_ejs drove us around + we talked liked adults (surreal moment for me 😭♥️). Celebrated @serenityjsmith20 audition success. Labor Day pool party, antique shopping, brunch, quality time, movies, heart to hearts with @carson.m.smith, saw sweet Chloe grow up before my eyes + head off to middle school. What a week!! Had the best time at my 30th High School Reunion. We all agreed there’s no way it’s been 30 years…we look & feel too young. Also, the 90’s were hands down the best decade ever.

I didn’t take a single picture, so thanks to those that did & shared. So many laughs & trips down memory lane. Cheers to the next 10 years. Go Panthers! 🐾🖤💛
