“In the dark times / will there also be singing? / Yes, there will also be singing / about the dark times.”
— “Motto,” Bertolt Brecht, 1939

The epigraph opening @nathanielleeadams introduction, “Dandyism in Dark Times.”

And the cat’s out of the bag: my darling @kellfirebray is featured in They Are Dandy!!! It’s been a long time coming, and people all along the journey have asked me, “Where’s Kelly?” To that I always replied that he was the original inspiration for it all! But finally it just needed to happen, and I thank @justin_fornal for the extra encouragement. It was such a beautiful experience to photograph my Kellfire! To me he is the star of the book😏

They Are Dandy: Portraits of the Modern Gentleperson is out now in the UK/EU, and on Oct 20 in the USA. Published by @gestalten

Something we haven’t offered in 4 years is back—Live Spirit Photography 👻

Step into our Victorian parlor studio 👻June 13 only👻 at the @odditiesfleamarket Bridgeport CT at @foolproof_bridgeport

Our Live Spirit Photography sessions are inspired by a real 19th century technique — and every ghostly effect is created in-camera using Pepper’s Ghost, no Photoshop, no retouching. Just you, a specter, and a little help from the beyond.

You’ll browse our catalog of haunts, choose your ghost, and sit for a bespoke portrait. Sessions are 15 minutes, groups up to 3 welcome. Afterwards your image is printed on archival paper and mounted in a vintage folding frame — on-site for you to take home the same day.

We sold out when we brought this to NYC. Don’t miss this rare opportunity. Use code HAUNTIG for 20% off — link in bio to book.

Recently I was tapped to work on the Tums Burn Ball social video at Dentsu Creative.
I was responsible for editing the video and audio, as well as Motion Design and vfx. Although I’m primarily a motion designer at DC, often times I am called on for editing video and/or audio projects. When all of these are combined into one project like the Burn Ball video, I get to scratch all the itches at once! 🤤 by @kellfirebray
