One year ago today, I made one of the hardest decisions in my life. After 15 years, I stepped away from my dream job of being a middle school teacher.

As a young girl, I always wanted to be a teacher. I remember, my sisters and I would play school in the basement. My parents even got us play school desks, math and reading workbooks, stickers for grading, and I made a teacher‘s desk.

Growing up in high school, I loved volunteering at the YMCA, for 10+ years I was involved with our summer day camp at camp Fitch, and I used to be a director the YMCA summer camp.

To be honest, I’ve just always enjoyed working with middle school aged kids.

They were silly. Their hormones were crazy. They said things that were literally off the wall, questioning, if you truly heard what they said! But many, had some of the biggest hearts and just needed an adult that they could trust and know that they were loved. Once they knew that, you could get any challenging student to truly put in the work.❤️

I feel like I could write a book about all the silly memories and special moments I had while making an impact on thousands of lives. Maybe one day I’ll do just that.

Today, as I wipe a few tears that come down my face, I know that I made the best decision in this season of life for me. I miss my kids and my PCLS community.

However, there are times in life when making the right choices for yourself is more than just difficult. There will always be a special place in my heart for Painesville City Schools and the MANY coworkers, kids (some now adults), and families that I got to serve.

I love and miss you all! Go Raiders!❤️🖤

One year ago, I felt inflamed, bloated, exhausted, and just off. I thought it was aging… but it was my body asking for support.

Learning the difference between synthetic vs. natural bioactive pep*tides changed everything — steady energy, better sleep, calmer mood, and less inflammation without extremes.

✨ I’m starting a Group Wellness Challenge on Monday, January 5 featuring our Make 3 Breakthrough:

✔️ 3 simple pep*tide products
✔️ 3 months of support
✔️ 3 healthy habits

Perfect for anyone dealing with low energy, bloating, inflammation, or stubborn weight.

Today the scale hit its lowest number in 2.5 years.
And it wasn’t from restriction, punishment, or starting over for the 100th time.

It was consistency.
It was healing my body.
It was supporting it instead of fighting it.

I’ve been using natural peptides for a year now — and for the first time, things finally feel different.

October, you were a good one. 🍂

Good company, a camera roll full of fall, and plenty of reasons to do it all again. 🤍

Went trick-or-treating with Ian and the family. Came home with a panda. 🐼🎃😂 by @kelli.richelle

Fall photos are all fun and excitement until someone says “act natural” and suddenly nobody knows what to do with their hands. 😂🍂

Anyone else coordinating outfits and convincing their people to smile this fall? 🤭 Can’t wait to see how ours turned out! 🤍

Anyone else go to Costco with a list and leave wondering what just happened? 😂🛒

Our Costco runs are mostly about stocking up on protein… but somehow dog treats, random snacks, and chocolate always find their way into the cart.

At least we’re prepared for the week. 😆💪🏼

What’s your Costco must-have?

Anyone else struggle to relax when there’s still something on the to-do list? 🙋🏼‍♀️

After a busy day, Ian and I took the pups for a walk and caught this view. I’m glad I didn’t wait until everything was done.

Practicing giving myself permission to pause. Sharing this in case you need that permission, too. 🍂🤍

A little movement, a stocked fridge, a TJ Maxx detour, and lunch outside. 🍂

Trying to fit everything into the weekend can make it feel like another workweek.

Something I’m practicing: choosing one thing for my health, one thing that makes next week easier, and something just because I enjoy it.

The to-do list will still be there. Make sure you’re on it, too. 🤍

Will I lift weights several times a week? Yes.

Will I walk back to the car a second time? Absolutely not. 😂

40 pounds of dog food, treats, two bags of groceries, and two dogs convinced I need an escort.

Everybody’s helping except nobody’s helping. 🐾🙃😎

Changing careers and starting a business both meant trusting myself before I felt ready.

I had to be willing to get things wrong and learn along the way.

We can spend so much time wondering “what if?” Give yourself a chance to find out. 🤍
