I made a lemon Bundt cake this morning. Box butter cake mix doctored up with lemon juice & zest! It’s also got a simple glaze with some zest to give it some extra lemon zip. #myhappyplace #inthekitchen #lemonbundtcake #lemoncake #lemon #springbaking #foodporn #bundtcakesofinstagram #lemoncakesofinstagram #boxmixhack by @kellie_mcdixon

My second attempt (In my lifetime, 1st time was awful) at homemade potato gnocchi w/marinara & meatballs was a complete success. Fresh pasta is stressful. Hope I made my Papa proud 🙏🏻😌. #gnocchi #italianfood #grampasgirl #dinner #delish #tasty #foodporn #freshpasta #sundayvibes #comfortfood #homecook #nailedit #italiangirl #sundayfunday #pasta #pastasofinstagram #yum #instafood #foodie #wannabechef #puttana lol by @kellie_mcdixon

Last second decision to buy a pork shoulder and make some fresh Italian sausage. Hope my Dad is looking down & is proud. Used his spices but as my own twist I threw some garlic that I confited in when I was grinding. I also used more red chili flakes and toasted all the spices. Time for it to dry. I’m a happy girl. #sausagemaking #italiansausage #porksausage #thegrind #sausages #foodporn #kitchenaide #meatgrinder #pork by @kellie_mcdixon

My happy place 2026💖 I DID ALL OF THIS!!! (Well hubby helped with the heavy stuff) This year’s garden had some challenges. You can’t fight Mother Nature! But she’s still growing, and was 100% a success & worth every second of the hard work, sweat, time & pain (spider bites suck). I do this for me, my family & the two men that inspired me to become a gardener. Miss you every day Daddy & Papa ❤️ #summer2026 #garden2026 #wny #raisedbedgardening #zone6b by @kellie_mcdixon

Volunteer grape tomato plant. Neglected, ignored and somehow the most flourishing plant over everything I’ve spent countless hours babying. #gardening #wnygardening #volunteerplants #wnyzone6b by @kellie_mcdixon

Homegrown pepperoncini’s (2nd batch) and pickles!!! (fridge pickles) the fact that I grew all of this blows my mind away. My little backyard garden in WNY makes me so happy. #fridgepickles #pepperoncini #cucumber #homegrown #wnygardens taken in Niagara Falls, New York by @kellie_mcdixon
