Timeless, Playful Portraits for Families

Hey, friends! I'm Kelli - the owner, photographer and mom behind Kelli Slavonic Photography in Pittsburgh, PA.

I'm so glad you found my little business! I specialize in Family, Newborn & Maternity Photography. I found my love for photography when my husband got me a camera one Christmas so that I could start snapping pictures of our babies. It's all history from there!

Here are a few facts about me:
1. I am in my frumpy mom era and love that I have the chance to make other moms feel beautiful and pampered! I had my hair and makeup done for these branding photos and it was the best! I didn't have to stress about getting ready beforehand (amidst all the chaos at home!) and she made me feel like a million bucks. Add on hair and makeup is offered for all of my sessions too. I also offer a complimentary Client Closet (gorgeous, flattering dresses for moms XS-1X).

2. I am a Pediatric Nurse and have lots of experience working with neurodivergent and medically complex babies, kids and adolescents. I love working with special needs families!

3. Being in nature is my happy place.

4. I love a good IPA.

5. My living room is often completely padded by Nugget Cushions in an attempt to prevent injuries. It’s a major interior design statement!

6. I live in the South Hills of Pittsburgh. We can walk to both of the grandparents' houses from our house!

7. My sister in-law lives in Pittsburgh too. She makes the most beautiful hand embroidered sweaters, blankets, bows and crowns. I have a few rompers in my client closet for first birthday sessions. Her sweaters and accessories look great in photos! @hitootsie

Message me with any questions! I can’t wait to work with you! 🤍 taken in Mount Lebanon, Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania by @kellislavonicphoto

Let's not just "take pictures". Instead, let's play, explore and connect with the people we love.

Can we agree that the second baby's first year goes by so much faster than the first baby?! There are so many milestones we realize after they've passed.

Ask me about the Milestone Membership if you'd like to document your baby a few times throughout that first year. Memberships are flexible and can include Maternity, Newborn, 6 month, 1 year.

Playing with your kids during our session is always my vibe. We get the traditional photos too, but the fun candid moments will always be the most special!

There's no other season I love to photograph this much. It's not about posing and props. It's about feeling the new love and connection.
