Você já parou para pensar que aprender inglês com alguém que também tem o português como língua mãe pode ser uma grande vantagem? 🇧🇷🇬🇧

Eu sei exatamente como é aprender inglês partindo do português.

Sei quais sons costumam ser difíceis, quais estruturas confundem, quais palavras parecem óbvias, mas não são tão óbvias assim… e, principalmente, sei explicar por que determinados erros acontecem.

Um professor nativo pode ser excelente.

Mas ter um professor da mesma língua mãe que você conta com vantagens específicas, já que ele é alguém que conhece o caminho que você está percorrendo.

✨ Você pode receber explicações que fazem sentido para quem pensa em português.
✨ Pode entender as diferenças entre as duas línguas com mais clareza.
✨ Pode se sentir mais à vontade para perguntar “coisas básicas”.
✨ E pode aprender inglês sem precisar fingir que o português não existe.

No fim das contas, aprender uma nova língua não é apagar a sua língua materna.

É aprender a transitar entre as duas. ❤️

E é exatamente isso que eu busco fazer nas minhas aulas: transformar aquilo que parece difícil em algo que finalmente faz sentido. by @kellkawai

An Open Letter to @m_shinoda and @linkinpark

I'm still processing everything that happened last Friday night.

It was the first LP concert in São Paulo in 2024. It was also the day the "From Zero" album was released.

I didn’t know what to expect exactly.

I knew I had enjoyed all the new songs so far, but I didn’t know if I was ready to hear the old songs played live.

And then it started.

All the lights went down, leaving only sounds coming from the stage and some projections on the big screen.

It gave me chills.

Mike, you couldn’t stop smiling, and I was so happy about that.

You have overcome such a terrible loss and so much pain. The grieving process wasn’t easy, and I know that.

Chester wasn’t a close friend of mine, but he felt like one. The pain I felt was strong enough to feel like I’d lost a brother or a friend.

The "One More Light" album saved my life in ways I can’t even describe. I connected with every word in each lyric.

I was at the 2017 concert, but I couldn’t enjoy it as much as I wanted to. I was in a dark place in my life, but the songs made me feel seen.

Maybe I don’t know all the details about the band or have every single piece of merch you’ve released.

But I’ve connected with the songs since my teenage years. Most of them I only fully understood as an adult.

I could see your pain, Mike, but that night, I saw your happiness—your joy to start again, honor Chester’s legacy, and give life to all the art inside you.

I saw your smile, and I smiled with you.

The emotions I felt on Friday overwhelmed me and came out in tears during "Leave Out All the Rest". Because grief is love everlasting. It’s proof that everything was real, and we can hold on to the memories.

I'll always bow down to love, even when I feel trapped in my own little hell.

Because all I know is that love is the only thing that still held me near.

Sometimes life seems like a mountain of madness and we keep waiting for better things to come.

I wish I could be a grand optimist, but I'm the world's poor pessimist.

Fortunately, I can count on all my friends to make my life better, even when I have a hard, hard time believing.

After a disaster or not, I can always begin again and ask life for a little mercy.

We need to use our imagination to think about all the things we choose to care about.

I'll keep searching for my paradise on the map of the world, like an astronaut above the curvature of the Earth.

I know that strangers can become young lovers and take care of each other.

That's why I still have some faith in the world.

That's my tribute to City and Colour.

I tried to use Dallas' words to express myself to show how his songs mean so much to me.

Songs that saved my life more times than I can count.

And besides all that, I still had the chance to take a picture with Dallas Green and Matt Kelly.

@mattkelly250 was a real gentleman, I can't describe my happiness when he recognized me from Instagram and called me by my name. It was a priceless moment and I got the best hug. 🥰

@cityandcolour_official was so kind and gracious, he didn't even hesitate to accept taking a selfie with me. And he gracefully signed two of my CDs. ❤️

I wish I could go back in time and live it all again.

Resenha:
O volume 19 começa se passando uns anos à frente, em que a filha de Hachi já é uma menina e ninguém sabe o paradeiro de Nana.

Mas o presente se mistura ao relances de futuro.

O relacionamento de altos e baixos entre Takumi e Hachi, as incertezas entre Reira e Shin, a instabilidade de Ren e Nana e também a complexa relação entre Takumi e Reira.

"Não é que eu esteja reclamando do Takumi por ele estar sempre ocupado. O que me deixa mais triste é que ele não demonstra a mínima saudade mesmo quando estamos longe."

Nana segue perseguindo sua carreira solo, ela quer descobrir o quão boa é ao subir nos palcos.

"No momento, tudo o que quero é subir o mais rápido possível no palco e cantar sem pensar em nada."
