I honestly don’t even know how to put anything into words right now.
I met you in 2020, and ever since then, you’ve been making me laugh nonstop. You were just a ray of sunshine truly. You came into our lives when you didn’t even realize how bad we needed you. You helped me and Jack grow up and taught us your ways, you were the father figure we needed and I can’t thank you enough for that. Even though we aren’t blood related, you are my dad. You had made my mom happier than I ever would’ve thought. From the beginning you would be writing her poems, and ever since then I want the love that both of you had, it was out of this world. You did above and beyond for her, Jack, and I, and I will never be able to thank you enough.
You brought such a new light and energy into the neighborhood, we were family already, and then you came along and it somehow felt even more like family. I loved coming home and seeing everyone either up at matt and jills, or down at amy and ethan’s, we had the best times. You guys are all our family, and it just brought me so much happiness looking at everyone together. The neighborhood will never be the same.
I’ll miss coming into the garage and just seeing you and mom with her glass of wine and you with your glass of bourbon and having a cigar while watching Philly sports (you would’ve loved to see LeBron on the sixers, they better win all the games for you) I always loved hearing you scream about whatever sport was on the screen, you were so passionate about everything, Philly sports is definitely high up on that list. Mom would always get so tired and go to bed, but you stayed out there all night. It was your favorite place. The cigar and bourbon will never leave that spot. And I never thought a garage would be my favorite spot either, it is now.
Archie, thank you again for EVERYTHING you have done for me, and our family. None of us would be who we are today if it wasn’t for you. I love you so much, always and forever. 🤍🤍🤍🤍
