September so far - hardwood floors getting installed, tile progressing in the primary bath, refreshing the fireplace, Oz needs a haircut - and a little snow on the mountains. Feels like fall. 🍂🤎

The shower stall in the primary bath was just..no. Teeny tiny, and the ceiling was dropped to meet the top of the shower stall, it was so, so low. Like a cave. We considered redoing the floor plan to gain more space in the bathroom, but every which way we drew it-it just wasn't coming together. So-our best solution was to make the shower as big & beautiful as we could, in the space we had to work with. Here's how it's looking so far. 🤎

I know most people will find this totally BORING- 🙄 But-we had the walls re-textured at the house and I'm so pumped!! Before it was a mix orange peel and knockdown textures, with a little bit of imperfect smooth. Now it's all the imperfect smooth, and I love it!! 😍😁

Welcome to the beginning of our next chapter! (aka project 🤭) We recently moved to a new to us home, built in 1977. While the previous owners did a ton of work to update the home-siding, windows, kitchen, new decking, they touched every space-all the heavy lifting-thank goodness! Our plan is to finish the project. There is still plenty to do around here inside and out, plus we get to personalize it! All the fun stuff!!

A friend recently told us we "move more ground than an earthquake." I thought that was hilarious 😂
