All the parades. The fire works. The shows.

We were stuck in Tron when it happened. Honestly, riding multiple times while the lightening was coming down with only a 15-20 min wait was kinda cool

Some day I’ll see the Halloween fireworks

Universal Epic: it was awesome. All the big kid rides. All the world immersions. We loved it; she would have loved it.
This first vacation without Zoe is rough. It’s not what we planned on, but we know in our sadness she is asking us to find joy. Asking us to still experience the world together as a family. I dream a lot, I’m one of those people who can remember their dreams - they are full color and sound, like watching a movie. But recently I haven’t been having any dreams - whether my body has been too exhausted or my mind not ready to be creative, it’s been months since I’ve dreamt. And then when Zoe moved on to heaven, I’d been dreading dreams.

But last night she sent me a dream. And I honestly can’t tell if she was sending me a joke or if she thought it was a good one in her own way.

In my dream I was at my grandparents old farmhouse. I was sitting in their living room with family around me, we must have been watching tv or something. In the dream I looked up at the wall and noticed a few holes - there were bees crawling out of the holes. I looked around for my brother and husband, both of whom are allergic to bee stings trying to protect them. I asked my mom to go get me a vacuum cleaner so I could clean it up, she left the room.
And then from the largest hole in the wall, a giant white snake slowly slide down out of the hole near me and hung near my face.
In the dream I was calmly surprised. I knew that I needed to handle the 15’ python and quickly grabbed the snake with one hand near its head. I asked my father and brother to help me carry the snake out. We took it outside, to the back garden and released it. It zoomed away, almost comically, thrashing through the corn fields while we stood and watched it. Then the dream ended.

I know Zoe said she would send me a sign - a surprising white. I was a mess yesterday and I can’t help but think that maybe she was sending me this dream as a way to say we can still play together.
Looking up some of the meanings of the things in my dream has me thinking about all the ways our lives move forward and get you to the point that you are supposed to be at, maybe not the one you want, but the place you were going all along. 🤍 by @kellycat28

We didn’t know how much time we would have with her. We prayed every day that God would give us more — more time, more laughter, more memories.

And during those days, we lived. We took her places and showed her the world. She was blessed with strength and windows of health that allowed us to give her a beautiful 2 years and 8 months, even through cancer.

We are so thankful to have had you Zoe — I will forever be proud of you 🤍 by @kellycat28

This morning at 8:45am, God welcomed Zoe back to her heavenly home. She passed in my arms quickly and without pain. Yes it was unexpected. Yes we are devastated, yet we know that she is dancing with her angel wings 🤍
