Having a great time in Carmen’s shoes here at @gulfshoreopera ! Loving my cast mates and the warm weather. Thanks @lisamarierogali for letting me try Carmen on while you’re being a star in Cenerentola 🤣 videos of my hammy habanera included 💃🏻 @zhenya.truksh on the keys 🎹 by @kellyguerramezzo

Austin, thanks for the good times. Looking forward to coming back soon. 🦋❤️🦋 Production photos by Erick Schlegel. @austinopera #operasingersofinstagram by @kellyguerramezzo

Thank you @wsj for the kind words! What a joy to make art for the community, even if it marks the beginning of my tía (and mama) era. And so much fun to sing with my fellow Peruvian 🇵🇪 and honorary daughter @maia_aramburu ❤️🤍❤️ You can still catch @jnddirect and @dr_jorgesosaortega “Ofrenda” with @austinopera until October 11!

“Kelly Guerra was an affecting, complex Macaria, her luminous mezzo making an eloquent contrast with the high, bright soprano of Maia Aramburú as Pina; their duets were among the score’s best moments.” -Heidi Waleson with the Wall Street Journal

As we gear up for our run of performances, here’s a look at my day before we premiered OFRENDA here at @austinopera on October 1st!

I hope you’re jealous of my insanely amazing video editing skills and very unique and interesting day of prep before I sing.

Thanks for the love, amici ❤️ last week’s International Opera Awards nomination has us reminiscing on the friendly faces that made our summer in Florence so magical onstage and off. by @kellyguerramezzo

NOW ON SALE!!! Round out your opera season with our Opera for the Community and Opera on Site productions: BRUNDIBAR/VEDEM and MARIA DE BUENOS AIRES. 🌟💃✉

In partnership with The Holocaust Memorial Resource and Education Center of Florida, the Opera Orlando Youth Company takes the stage at Orlando Family Stage with BRUNDIBAR/VEDEM — two works born inside the Theresienstadt ghetto during World War II. Hans Krása's children's opera BRUNDIBAR was performed by children imprisoned at Theresienstadt over fifty times, while Lori Laitman’s VEDEM draws from the underground literary magazine written by teenage boys in the same camp, boys who chose to make art in the most impossible circumstances imaginable.

Three performances at Orlando Family Stage December 12-13. Tickets start at just $19 here at link in bio.

Ástor Piazzolla and Horacio Ferrer's MARIA DE BUENOS AIRES will transform 1010 West Church Street into an Argentinian tango club in March. Piazzolla's bandoneón-scorched score tells the story of María — who dies, is reborn, and dances through it all. As María navigates the city’s seedy underbelly, you’ll be swept up in a story that explores rebirth, obsession, and survival. Take a step inside Piazzolla and Ferrer’s world, surrounded by their words and music, the movement, the food, and the heat of Buenos Aires nightlife.

Three performances only March 4-6. Tickets include appetizers, dessert, and wine. Purchase at link in bio. by @kellyguerramezzo

Look mom! Opera Magazine’s October 2026 issue provides a lovely review of The Light in the Piazza with Opera Theatre of Saint Louis. Including a shout out to yours truly 👹

“The production, directed by Crystal Manich, was buoyed by the boisterous Naccarelli’s, particularly Kelly Guerra as Franca.” - Opera magazine
