“Move in whatever way brings you joy”

It started at 2 days a week, then 3, and now 4 in the gym down the road. I’ve never been prouder of what my body can do, and cared less about how it looks.

This is not summer body content because that’s unsustainable. This is a nudge that if you’re in a rut, try moving in a way that brings you joy. by @kellyloubishop

I wish I had the words to say how incredible the @everybodysstory exhibition is @centrespacegallery. 100 plaster cast busts painted gold with a story of sexual assault or harassment. @ellenfdownes has created a safe space for these stories to be shared, and an incredible conversation starter.

The exhibition closes tomorrow (29th June) and I’d fully recommend going if you can, and if you’re in the right headspace to do so.

I didn’t take any pictures. Maybe one day I’ll wish I’d taken them, but I’ll hold the feeling of a full soul with me forever. To the people who were there today, thank you. You have no idea how much I value my time with you 💛 by @kellyloubishop

Who gives a damn if you’re not your pre lockdown size (whatever that means). We’ve been through a joint trauma. Let’s just enjoy the sun. by @kellyloubishop

Take the fire as your own 🔥

Today in did one of my favourite things and dedicated two and a half hours to theatre. Today’s choice was @emiliatheplay and what a fantastic choice it was.

400 years ago Emilia Bassano wanted her voice to be heard. It wasn’t. Could she have been the “Dark Lady” of Shakespeare’s sonnets? What of her own poems? Why was her story erased from history?

Emilia is a passionate love letter to the voices of women, with a diverse cast of women lending their own to this story. It’s funny, and heartbreaking (cw for child mortality), and it’s clear to see how it won its three Olivier Awards.

Until 2nd December, Emilia is available to watch online as a “pay what you can” recording. The minimum is a pound and truly it deserves much more than that. Visit emilialive.com for more 🔥 by @kellyloubishop
