We closed Crazy For You yesterday at @goodspeedmusicals 🌙

It would be impossible to put into words what this experience has meant to me, so I’ll just say thanks to @michaelfling, @misskellinyc, @adamnsouza, the best stage managers around (@goodspeed_stagemanagers, @wrkinch and @billyandjoonie), and the best cast and crew anyone could dream of!

Costumes by @josephshrope and hair/makeup by @pro.marylee !

Old Man Trouble? I don’t mind him! AND my feet might be moving too fast for him to catch me!

I was so lucky to stage “Teach Me How to Shimmy” with choreography by Joey McKneely from Smokey Joe’s Cafe for GOTTA DANCE by @adm21c and @yorktheatre ! The gift it was to work with this amazing cast is no joke! @jessicaleegoldyn is a force and her artistry and generosity and commitment to storytelling are inspiring! @brandon.burks is so charismatic and captivating! @b_zelez and @a_cannarella are holding it down!! @palomagarcialee shimmied all the Saturday matinees and her authenticity and openness are totally engaging! And @the_jess_leprotto is just ridiculously talented.

Happy closing to the cast of GOTTA DANCE and especially the cast of “Teach Me How to Shimmy”! Superstars!

And thanks to my mentor/friend @_maryannlamb_ for all things always ❤️ by @kellymgleason
