I made a book ❤️
This was a true labor of love! I’ve had the idea for “Meditations on Clouds” for years and finally did it… and I have to say, I’m kind of proud of myself. 😊 It wasn’t the easiest undertaking, and I definitely learned a lot in the process.

The book is a collection of my paintings from the last several years. I have paired them with quotes that have helped me find peace on my own journey. Clouds have always reminded me to look up and find beauty in the way things change, and they truly hold a sacred place in my heart.

I couldn’t have done any of it without the patient support of @collettesadler. She is an amazing designer and helped me turn these visions into something real. I’m so grateful.

Most of all, thank you to my collectors, friends, and family for your continued support on my painting journey. It gives me such great joy to share this with you. I feel very blessed to even have the opportunity 🥲

I’m still here. Took a little break.

Honestly, I haven’t really wanted to post, and I haven’t even wanted to look at my giant painting (which you can see is on a time out against the wall…) so instead I’ve been doing all the other studio things: like prepping panels, working on small studies, experimenting, having fun. Did I mention avoiding the big painting…? 😂

I received this gorgeous book a little while back but hadn’t had the time to share about it yet. Kelly Money created this beautiful Cloud Meditations book with her paintings and thoughtful quotes and it’s been such a comfort during this challenging season. I wish a video could do the book justice but I guess you’ll have to take my word for it!

I adore her cloud paintings. They are so calming and peaceful! If you’re not following @kellymoneyart yet, you’re missing out.

So honored to have been selected as a recipient of the Chairman’s Award of Excellence for my painting, “Still an onion” 🧅 at the Pennswood Gallery, Inaugural Show.

I had no idea, so seeing that painting on the screen was quite a surprise.

Those of you that were in the class, or know me personally, are quite aware how long that painting took. It was one of three onions I painted during my classical studies at @buckscountyclassicalarts, and I joke (but not really) that it brought me to tears more than once. 😭

It feels incredibly humbling to be acknowledged for the work I’ve done, thank you. I’m grateful for all the support, encouragement, and patience during the process. What an honor.

Honored to have these two works included in the Inaugural Artists Group Show at Pennswood Art Gallery in Newtown, PA.

This exhibition brings together work by students of Bucks County Classical Arts Center, celebrating studies in portraiture, drawing, plein air, and oil painting.

A truly amazing week. The Hunter-Fryer Gathering in beautiful Spring City, Utah. I feel truly blessed to have been invited and it was an honor to meet artists Charlie Hunter and Douglas Fryer. They are generous, kind, and unbelievably patient. (Especially with me…!)

I laughed, I cried, but most of all I learned. I am not coming back the same from this experience.

I’m also grateful to the wonderful new friends I made, that opened their studios and hearts to the truth of being an artist. Such wisdom and honesty. Thank you.
