to the sport that has given me so much, ya outdid yourself this year.

attending a world cup match had always been on the list, but being part of a core team that hosted nine of them? an absolute dream ✨

this tournament became a marker in my life when i watched the ‘99 women win the cup in pens. i became addicted. waking up at 3am to catch a game and lying to my boss to skip work to watch a match in a crowded bar.

it’s difficult to describe how meaningful this summer was for me. the moments i got to watch, the people i got to meet, the rooms i got to be in and the greatness i got to witness will never be forgotten.

i’m overflowing with gratitude for so many people and moments, but especially for the 6 yr old little girl who fell in love with this game. the one who kept playing, persevered and let this sport shape her life, relationships and…herself in so many ways. and i think she’s proud of me too 🥹 taken in AT&T Stadium by @kellynjo

the year that taught me what leaning into the *both and* truly looks and feels like.

grief and joy. loss and gain. humility and pride. gratitude and longing. new experiences and repeated days.

an unreal 36 hours in omaha. between seeing our small school on the big stage and being surrounded by so many friends I hadn’t seen in 10+ years, it all felt like a fever dream ✨

what a sweet reminder of our special college town—murray, ky—and the unique college experience that gave us so much pride.

#racernation and the dirty ‘breds from the dirty murray forever 💙⚾️💛

not. done. yet. #shoesup
