Wow! What an incredible 50th celebration! An epic trip with our family, driving to Mount Gambier then on to stunning Daylesford to celebrate my bestie Farah’s 50th birthday and surprise vow renewal with her husband Ray. The #Daylesford Lake House luxury resort is just beautiful, and matched the outrageously fabulous party we were lucky enough to attend. The team at @kiinrestaurant are ridiculously good. Every single time we’ve been to their venue, the food has been incredible, the vibes high, the DJ always plays great tunes, the cocktails fabulous and their spice factor one to watch out for. Their events are always extra special as they don’t do things by halves, with special guest chefs often flown in for the occasion. Our bucket list event of the year was yesterday - the @penfolds collection launch and Feast to Table lunch! It was also the 75th anniversary of Grange, and we got to enjoy a taste of 2022 Grange, alongside a showcase of some incredible food from @magillestatekitchen.

This August, South Australia’s spectacular Fleurieu Peninsula will once again come alive as the Fleurieu Food Festival returns for its fifth year, inviting visitors to discover the people, produce and places behind one of Australia’s most celebrated food regions.

Running throughout August, the month-long festival will feature more than 50 immersive food, wine and agritourism experiences, from vineyard feasts and fireside long lunches to farm tours, chef collaborations, artisan workshops and exclusive dining experiences showcasing the very best of the Fleurieu Peninsula.

WHAT A NIGHT!! Incredibly lucky to be invited to experience the refreshed degustation menu by @chef_alessandromangione at @hardysverandah at @mountloftyhouse. I absolutely loved it. So elegant, delicious and memorable. And the service was impeccable. The only thing better would have been to stay for the night! I was looking for pics of the restaurant from previous visits and managed to find one of the cellar back in 2017 when we enjoyed a stay at the hotel. I’ve popped it last, next to a video of the cellar now, so you can see the amazing difference!
