And 1 in 5 people diagnosed is now under age 55 It’s also the leading cause of cancer related death in young adults. Don’t ignore warning signs: Blood in your stool. New or persistent changes in bowel habits. Unexplained weight loss. Ongoing abdominal pain. If you’re at average risk, screening starts at age 45. Know your family history. Know your risk. Always tired, and doing everything right? Here is what you should do next.... 1) check your labs. Abnormalities in your labs like low vitamin D, thyroid abnormalities and iron deficiency could be a contributor to your symptoms 2) Assess your mental status. Depression can make you feel tired. Speak to a qualified protessional who can evaluate you and can help you find a way to feel better. 3) Get a sleep study! Sleep apnea not only can cause fatigue, it could lead to death.
