A colorful, joyful weekend 🤍 by @kelp__sea
Today, I turn 4. Here are some things I’ve learned over these last 4 years: 1. Selfishness is a curable disease, but a disease nonetheless. 2. I don’t have to always protect myself. That does me more harm than good. Take that how you wish. 3. My life isn’t just about me, and what I want doesn’t always matter. 4. We’ve got to really be there for each other. Truly. It is life or death. 5. I don’t care if I don’t like you, it is my DUTY to love you. 6. My radical life change does not force those who witnessed my destruction to forgive the version of me they knew before. It just doesn’t. And that’s okay. 7. Sobriety with God is what truly kept me sober, not just a 12-step program. 8. Survivors guilt is real, but it must remain fleeting. 9. We have GOT to stop being so mean to each other. Every last one of us. 10. It is my responsibility as a victor to go back and help others to victory. 11. No one is EVER a lost cause. Ever. 12. I am so grateful to be alive. That’s all for now. Love y’all ♥️ by @kelp__sea
The power isn’t in us, our circumstances, or our strength. The power is in one name: Jesus. by @kelp__sea
