Lately, I’ve been returning to the little things that have always brought me joy and one of those things has always been making playlist🥰

When I was a kid, I loved discovering new music. I was that curls burning CDs, binging YouTube for new songs, listening to albums from start to finish, finding unreleased tracks, and spending hours on apps like Spinrilla, Beats Music, TIDAL… anywhere I could find a new sound to fall in love with.

There’s always been something so satisfying about finding songs that just fit together. Matching the energy, the tempo, the feeling. I could honestly spend hours building the perfect playlist, and it never feels like time wasted.

I don’t think I’ve ever really shared this side of myself, but as I’ve been learning to enjoy my own company again, I’ve found myself coming back to my hobbies.

So… maybe it’s time I start sharing some of my playlists with you.🫶🏽 For now, here’s a little glimpse into what’s been on repeat lately, enjoy💕

Definitely have been the number 1 song on repeat for me. Literally says everything for me when I don’t have the words to say or pray.

Literally a whole vibe! I’ve been praying for more love, more grace, more favor🥰🥰🥰 if this song doesn’t hit my end of year on Spotify it’s rigged 😆

This song is literally the self love anthem! It’s so soothing, empowering, and inspiring. Every woman in there becoming era should have this song in the playlist because it’s the perfect song for affirmations geared towards self acceptance in all aspects of personal development.

I absolutely love love love this song.

It’s a such a great reminder that God is literally only a call away. You’re never going through anything alone, and you’re always in great company.

Powerful song!!! Especially through life’s pursuits and uncertainties, this song is a reminder that what is for you is for you and will not miss you.

It encourages you to walk in the knowing that what you’re believing for is already yours. You’re just being prepared for the inevitable moment that it’s full presented to you.

Taking that one-way flight to UK has definitely proven to be one of the best decisions I’ve ever made!

Every part of this journey has been teaching me that there no reason to rush anything and sometimes the assignment is simply to be present.

Nothing is just the way it is. It’s the way it is from where you’re standing.

Not everyone is carrying the same struggles or experiencing the same sense of security. Your highs could be someone else’s lows, and your lows might not even exist in someone else’s world.

Focus on your current life experience. If you’re not enjoying it, keep searching, learning, growing, and expanding your perspective until you find better. Better does exist.

The moment you decide, “This is all there is,” is the moment you lose.

Your emotions are not your enemy; they are information. Sometimes frustration, stress, and overwhelm are signs that something needs your attention or that you’re being called in a different direction.

Follow what brings you joy, peace, and ease. Not because everything should be effortless, but because alignment feels different than constantly forcing.

Not every connection is meant to become a friendship. Some people are meant to be a beautiful conversation, a kind interaction, or simply a moment in passing.

Discernment is knowing the difference between being open-hearted and giving everyone access to you. You can appreciate people, wish them well, and still understand that not every connection needs to go deeper.

Independence is valuable. Community is transformational. There is strength in allowing yourself to be supported and asking for help.

The people that are your people won’t judge you for it, but will be more than happy to be apart of your process.

Every chapter, even the painful ones, has equipped me for the next version of my life. Absolutely nothing has been wasted.

Live from the horizontal office💜

Working from home used to mean oversized tees, messy buns, and “I’ll get ready later” 😭 but lately I’ve really been learning the importance of presenting myself well even at home.

As a content creator, my home is basically my office, so I’ve been putting more intention into how I show up every day. Cute lounge sets, slick back bun, brows done, a little mascara + blush. Nothing dramatic, just enough to feel put together🤍

I truly believe how you present yourself affects how you feel about yourself. We’re made in God’s image, so taking pride in our appearance isn’t vanity, it’s stewardship✨

At 26, I’m realizing maturity is in the little things too. Even if nobody sees me all day, I still want to carry myself with care. Plus, you never know who might knock on the front door someday. Boaz is that you?😂

Six weeks ago I moved from Los Angeles to England with a dream.

No agency.
No guarantees.
No roadmap.
