I had been delaying posting about year 3 of Gay Summer Camp because I refuse to accept this very special annual event has come and gone.

I feel so lucky to spend another birthday with you! The most compassionate, kind, resilient, and determined person I know.

In the last year, I’ve watched you bet on yourself, take chances, say yes to scary things, and accomplish so much. I’m so proud to be by your side.

You navigate obstacles with grit and grace, you are filled with SO MUCH zest, endless joy, and billowing laughter.

Life with you is nothing short of a dream.

It’s been 5.5 years since I adopted this hunky boy, but unfortunately today was our last day together earthside.

Wyatt had more personality than any dog I’ve ever met, he was born to be a star. Everyone he met joined his fan club damn near instantly and he helped many overcome fears of the breed.

Together we fostered countless dogs (he tolerated it), traveled, laughed, cried, changed.

He’s had a rough year of health stuff and it just got to be too much to try to push him through. Selfishly I wanted to keep going; my boy told me it was time to hang up the leash.

Forever my thiccest man. Tell Dora I miss her. by @kelseymaccombs

I turned 36! I spent the weekend showing @mcolleen13 some of my favorite parts of Northern Michigan and exploring new places. We crossed the Mackinac Bridge to the UP, added another @thomasdambo Troll to our list, cruised Lake Superior to see Pictured Rocks, and ended the weekend at my favorite brewery @shortsbrewing. I feel so much gratitude for our life of adventure. Cheers to another excellent Taurus Season in the books. taken in Pictured Rocks National Lakeshore by @kelseymaccombs
