If you know anything about my sister and I it's that we adore Laika's films. @laikastudios films were actually part of the reason I chose to study animation in college.

My sister and I have been counting down the days to the Wildwood release and watching each teaser. For now enjoy my take on what Coraline might look like in a pixel world. Working on this piece sparked plans for future Laika inspired pieces 👀

Kelsey Matcha is a traveling merchant of whimsical pixel goods and wares based in the Pacific Northwest. Her work is inspired by her favorite games, media, and the vibrant landscapes of the PNW forests and mountains. She primarily works as a pixel artist creating foil prints, stickers, wooden pins, stationery, charms, and woven blankets creating enchanting landscape pieces and sparkling trinkets from your favorite worlds.

Seems fitting that my first post in over a year would compare my new booth to my old! My set up for RCCC 24 is definitely a step up from my previous tables!

Thank you to everyone that stopped by and said hello! All the support and kind words about my booth and art give me such inspiration to keep creating. And the positive response to my new endeavors (woven blankets & stationary) really made all the work and trial and error to make them worth it.

I'll be at Anime Washington Spokane this weekend but in the meantime swipe to see some RCCC moments!

Finally have a moment of calm to reflect on LVL Up Expo 2023! This was my first out of state convention and it was quite the whirlwind!

Thank you to everyone that stopped by the booth and followed me here on Instagram after! I met so many wonderful people- whether you made a purchase or simply had something kind to say the support means the world to me and motivates me to keep going ✨

I also had the chance to meet and talk with so many artists and even did a few art trades (thank you T^T)! It was amazing to be at a larger convention where that happened!

Finally Elden Ring, this newest installment to the Soulsborne games has been insanely fun to play. I love exploring and open world games so it's been a thrill taking on The Lands Between.
