We said goodbye to our sweet Dallas last Saturday. I had hoped I could keep him forever, but he was hurting and I had to let him go.
He has been with us for over 15 years, always living in my (his) bedroom, sleeping in my (his) bed, tripping under all our feet in the kitchen at any sight of food, sitting in every sun spot in the house he could find. He has been the one constant in my life that has helped me get through some really tough times, and I’m not sure how I will get through this tough time without him. Thinking of him constantly since he was in every aspect of my life, never not at my side. This past week has been very difficult to try and find a way to navigate life without him and I’d give anything to just hold him one more time.
I will always love and miss him deeply and I don’t think there will be a single day in the rest of my life where I don’t think of him. by @kelseysteaparty
