New York brought the skyline. Pier 76 gave us the headwinds🍎🗽

An unreal weekend in NYC competing in my first Hyrox. A stacked mixed doubles heat with some fast people made for a fun fight to the finish🔥

I went into this race with an ambitious goal (shoutout to all of my friends and fam for believing in me) of sub 1:30 and boy did I fight like hell on the course for my place today. The beginning of the race I felt so strong, hitting my splits perfectly (shoutout @landonwarmund for pacing me) and then my stomach gave me a run for my money puking 3 times from mile 6 on💀 it was a mental battle from there on but I knew I still had enough gas in the tank to hit a PR. The vibes and energy going into mile 12 were electric seeing my KRC fam and I knew it was time to full send🫡

Might’ve not gone sub 1:30 but pretty proud of myself for pulling a 1:32:08 (6:57/mile) on a really tough course. Thank you to all of my friends and family for being there today, you truly carried me to the finish line🥹🫶🏼

Follow the yellow brick road….straight to the start line🌈💛👟

The Garmin Olathe Marathon brings the Land of Oz to life- rolling hills that’ll test you, scenic miles that’ll reward you, and a course that feels like its own kind of adventure.

Whether you’re taking on the full marathon, the half, or the 10k, there’s a place for you at that start line- and an even better feeling waiting at the finish.

I got to capture the magic behind it- and trust me, this race is something special.

Big thanks to Garmin Olathe Marathon for the opportunity to be part of this🙏🏻

Who will I see out on the course in 2027?!👀
