I knew that NASA - National Aeronautics and Space Administration jacket I bought at Space Camp would come in handy!

Last night, we brought #CoffeeWithKen to the National Air and Space Museum, Steven F. Udvar-Hazy Center, Smithsonian for a dynamic evening with space investors, invnovators and partners in government for a conversation around America’s Space Superiority.

Special thanks to Fairfax County Economic Development Authority and E2MC (Earth-to-Mars Capital) for the invitation to emcee and moderate the conversations. Also, grateful to Space Next, JPMorganChase and Leonid Capital Partners for sponsoring.

It was a dynamic evening under the Space Shuttle Discovery, toasting the industry, discussing what it takes to build a forward thinking ecosystem and how government should continue to invest and support innovation.

WOW!

So grateful to all the guests, sponsors, moderators and panelists who made our first #CoffeewithKenSummit such an amazing success!

Over 20 sponsors, nearly 400 RSVP’s, ten panels, 4 celebrity guest moderators, countless coffees and tons of fun! This event was the culmination of 6 years of conversations and our first effort at organizing a full day gathering. Special thanks to DMV Deep Tech, JBG SMITH and Barclays for the support, as well as all our other sponsors.

We focused our day around the reindustrialization of the American industrial base and covered everything from robotics and energy dominance to advanced air mobility and defense tech. I refuse to just go to dinner for date night anymore. So we did @golevel99 and I have to say I haven’t cackled like that in a long time. Also, in my mind I have the body and agility of a 27 year old — but physically turns out I’m a super sleep deprived mother of 4 😂 I signed back up for some yoga classes when I got home… and iced my lower back ✨ @kenbiberaj you impressed me today 🙏🏻✨😘 well done! by @kenbiberaj

On this very first night of football— I wanted to share that August 5th was my very last day with the Commanders—after almost 5 years it was time to take a little pause and enjoy my 4 kiddos.

My favorite memories—too many to count. The stuff that never makes the news or gets reported on. The quiet kindness of Ownership, Players, Coaches doing the right thing. Shared tears with strangers and friends. Making magic happen for people. In the happiest of circumstances and the saddest of circumstances. Bringing the joy and being the light.✨

I took this job when I was actually quite lonely and trying to adjust to living in the DMV. I had prayed for a job that would give me a sense of community. Well, the universe delivered something I would have never asked for myself and beyond what I could’ve imagined.

I’ll miss gamedays, high-fiving staff, strangers, hugging Security. I’ll miss all our Legends— they’re the best of us and better than you could ever imagine. I’ll miss my colleagues who brought joy and love to this place - you know who you are! I’ll miss knowing the guts of a place- the shortcuts, the ramps, the secret staircases to get wherever you want faster. I’ll miss my kids doing laps on the suite level and being on the field before a game, watching the flag unfurl and crying EVERY. SINGLE. TIME.

As VP of Community and the head of the Foundation, we did a lot of good. We rebuilt engagement after the pandemic, through an ownership change, reengaged DC public schools, brought back Youth Football, assisted with new Stadium sentiment in DC and planted the seeds on the Commanders Youth Academy- and more—a legacy I’m proud of.

We helped a lot of people. We sent out so many ripples of good. It’s been an honor leading Community, now I’m honored to just be a part of it. A fan in a sea of the best fans anywhere.

Tonight, during the SNF anthem, Lucy turned to me and said “Mom, put your hand on your heart!” And you know what, I did. 💛

This job gave me and my kids a shared love of football, something we’ll cherish together forever. It gave me a community. And it retaught me what hope looks like. 🙌🏻

Thanks for the memories, Washington! Forever Hail!
