(Please be patient with me as I start to add everything to my online shop. I will announce once things are available for purchase online.) by @kendalblake

This Black History Month I’ve partnered with @walmartcanada to design a new illustration “My Crown”.

Creating this illustration was not only an honour but a full circle moment for me as a Black Artist.
Our hair is our crown and it is a significant part of the Black experience in so many different ways with a lot of historical context behind it.

I wanted to create something that not only would be special to me but would speak to many different Black Canadians.

You can find “My Crown” T-shirt’s and Tote Bags for a limited time in select Walmart stores across Canada. Proceeds from each shirt sold will go toward @ceetoronto for workforce development and education to create visible career opportunities for Black youth to achieve financial prosperity and a high quality of life for themselves and their families.

Happy Black History Month!

Happy Halloween! 🎃

Check out some of my costumes from previous years 🤩

Halle Berry as Catwoman was one of my favourite costumes but back then we didn’t take as many Halloween photos so this is the only photo I got 😭
I even made the costume myself!

Who should I be tonight? 🤨👻 by @kendalblake

Throwback Thursday… when I drew Halle Berry as Catwoman for Blacktober in 2023.

I also dressed up as her for Halloween back in 2017
