We found a toddler-approved spot right along the river in Freeport, and honestly it checked every box:

✅ Outdoor area for kids to run around
✅ Delicious BBQ
✅ Great adult beverages
✅ Amazing service (special shoutout to Andrew 👏)
✅ Kids eat FREE every Tuesday
✅ They even gave my kids FREE ice cream 🥹

Ok hear me out!
No I don’t think I’m this huge influencer, BUT do I have fun taking my kids to do fun things and sharing all about it??? HECK YES! 🎉

It’s not always about the followers. And I do have to remind myself not to listen to my inner doubts “what if people think I’m _____” bc honestly, I am just having fun sharing outfits and activities (and lord knows what else) on here, so isn’t that all that matters?😂💃

📍Anchored Eats, Folsom Lake

Ok this was a fun alternative for my toddlers!! A few tips: bring tent for shade, toddler water shoes and sand toys!!! I will also mention the restaurant has yummy burgers and lunch items but not alcohol, just slushie type drinks 😅 not like the other moms were wondering or anything…. LOL

SO many rental options! Open 11-7 pm.

Honestly, renting that flat circle floatie really made the day for us. My toddler is still “iffy” about swimming in lakes, but he LOVED this option and it made him feel safe and supported- then he didn’t want to leave!

I give this an 8/10 day. What do you guys think? Share with another mom to try and follow for more local toddler recs! 💙☀️

If you’re looking for a FREE way to keep little ones cool this summer, add Bertha Henschel Park to your list! ☀️💦

My 2.5-year-old and 1-year-old had the BEST time splashing in the wading pool, and you can’t beat the price… FREE! 🙌

The playground was great in what it offered, but unfortunately it doesn’t have much shade, so the slides were pretty hot in the afternoon 🥵

Be sure to save this and check the POOL SCHEDULE BEFORE YOU GO! 👇

POV: You discover the BEST birthday tradition! 🧸🎉

I took my 2½-year-old and my newly turned 1-year-old to Build-A-Bear for the very first time, and it was such a sweet experience. ❤️

The best part? During your child’s birthday month, they can get the Birthday Bear for the price of the age they’re turning… sooo Cooper got his very first Build-A-Bear for just $1! 🥹🐻

They’ve been snuggling their stuffies non stop ever since 🥲

If you have little ones, this is definitely worth adding to your birthday bucket list!

📍Sac moms—you HAVE to check this place out!!

We finally checked out Funbox in Natomas and it was an EASY 10/10. My toddler had the time of his life, my almost 1-year-old could crawl around safely, and both my kids got in FREE (2 & under)! 🙌

I thought this was just for the kids… but somehow my husband was also living his best life bouncing around. 😂

Oh, and apparently now we “HAVE” to have my nieces 5th birthday party here 💁🏼‍♀️😅

Definitely adding this to our list of go-to toddler activities this summer!

If you’re looking for an easy outing in Sacramento that will keep your little one busy for hours, the Sacramento Children’s Museum is absolutely worth it. So many hands-on activities, imagination play, and spaces designed just for toddlers. We already can’t wait to go back! 🧡

A FEW HIGHLIGHTS:
- Baby’s under 1 yr are free
- $5 FRIDAYS ALL SUMMER!🌞
- Snack Room, bathrooms, cubbies for belongings and even a private lactation room!

Just be sure to check the hours before heading there! We went in the morning 😚
