POSTS STORIES REELS

Hi, I forgot to tell you that my heart cracked all the way open and I’ve been on DND mode to soak up every last drop.

May I introduce you to
IRIS JO HANNA 💕
(Her name is in honor of both of her great grandparents who passed while I carried her. I like to think they met in the cosmic hallway between beginnings and ends- passing off the Hanna baton with love.)

She came fast and furious on September 17th at 9:55pm in Mexico City.

And when I look at her, I can’t believe there was a time where I was debating if we should have a 3rd. She arrived, and it was like— DUH. It was always you.

3 kids born in 3 countries.
Iris- an American and Mexican citizen, sporting 2 passports, 2 siblings, and 2 sleep deprived parents.
What a wild and beautiful ride. Thank you for choosing us. 💕 by @kendallhanna

almost half way through to meeting you. ✨

My younger self could never have predicted being a mother of 3– and I’d be gobsmacked if you told me that they’d all be born in different countries.

but what I always wanted life to feel like was one big adventure. and with every leap, every freefall- it’s been your hand I’ve reached for, Clint. ♥️

And now, I grow.
(And cry a lot and eat barbecue chips at midnight)
And gently stretch the edges of love to make plenty room for you, precious little soul.

i’m so excited you joined our party, and we get to grow up together. your mommy, daddy, brother, and sister are simply geeked about you. ✨ our little Mexico City bb by @kendallhanna

I had the temptation to meticulously edit this reel: but then I knew it would never see the light of day. I just dumped everything in and let it do its syncing thing.

and that’s kind of how I feel about this year. Dumping everything in and trusting the big cosmic syncing with the rest of it. Not it needing to be perfect (as if it could be), but just saying: if this is gonna happen, it’s gonna have to be a beautiful mess.

I’m also not going to meticulously try to sum up with the last 12 months have been. We’d be here all night. And even then, it wouldn’t do it justice. but what I do know is that this moment in time I have found myself in is one that I am grateful to experience- in all it’s wild, raw mess.

2025 we burned down an entire life to build a new one. It was time to fly away. Not because we didn’t love the ground beneath our feet. But because we knew we had more ground to cover.

2026, please be kind to us all. We’ve collectively gone through it and could use some tenderness, ya? ♥️

I tried to picture this moment when you were born. You turning 5. What would you look like, be like, be interested in? How that felt so far away. And babe, we barely blinked.

This is you. 5. 🖐️

Motherhood has further illuminated just how sacred every single human is. What an awe inspiring miracle it is that every person walking this earth was knitted, cell by cell, to arrive into existence as their own personality. To leave their unique aroma on this world. A cosmic gumball machine of surprise.

Levi, you are a dang miracle. Every hair on your head.
A lover boy, through and through. Curious, strong, brave, polite, self possessed, creative, attentive to the smallest details and in awe of them all. I’m just so PROUD of you, my guy.

A joy to witness. A joy that you came in this world to be my forever family. And to carry the privilege of being yours. Your essence has already impacted so much, and I can’t wait to watch it ripple out as you grow.

HOW COOL, DUDE. *fist bump*

Happy happy birthday to my Wevi. by @kendallhanna

No trending audio- just the sounds of memories. We decided to get away for the weekend- about a 2 hour drive to Tepoztlán- an enchanting mountain town. Here’s a little home video of our first trip out as a family living in Mexico.

WE MOVED TO MEXICO CITY 🇲🇽
Woah, woah, woah… I know. I feel that too.

Let’s back up. For 5 years, we have been actively nurturing this dream, and right when I was beginning to lose hope it was possible, logistically, an opportunity presented itself with Clint’s job.

In June, we got the news that a transfer to Mexico City was available and we jumped with no hesitation. Yes. 2 months ago.

It was immediate chaos mode of shutting down one life while building another. A summer I can only describe as birth by fire.

Dreams don’t erase the challenges. And this transition felt too tender to name until I’d found my own footing in it. A free fall that I needed space to navigate well for my family.

I put @hanna___house on vacation (don’t worry, she’s not going anywhere), packed up with two toddlers, we put our beloved house on the market (don’t get me started or I’ll bawl again thinking about it) and what you see here is all we took to Mexico- a few checked bags a person- everything else being put into storage.

A true shedding to step into the next chapter lighter and with open palms. Ten toes down in our decision (for better or for worse).

*and yes, with plenty of cheeky spin-outs from all involved*

We landed here almost 2 weeks ago, living out of bags while we have been searching for a new home here. Levi just started school yesterday, bravely walking into an environment where the majority of his peers do not speak his language. And honestly, his excitement and courage has bolstered me.

To be here now feels surreal, a quiet dream of our hearts that lived in whispers on our pillows for years.

I know what a privilege it is to make a transition like this—what it really takes to choose this kind of a change. I hold immense respect for both the culture I’m coming from and the one I’m stepping into. And I’ve been so touched by the warm hospitality of our welcome here, even amidst this complicated moment in the world. I’m humbled and grateful to learn from this country, its history, and its people as we settle in slowly and thoughtfully.

‼️ ANNOUNCEMENT ‼️

@hanna___house will be on vacation mode starting JULY 1!
Don’t worry, we’re not going anywhere (I’m in this baby for the long haul, don’t get it twisted) but some exciting behind the scenes stuff is going down, so the shop will be closed for several months to accommodate for it.

I say this because if you’ve got your eye on something or need refills of anything, I’d put your order in now!
There is limited stock until we get back- so it’s first come, first serve in the meantime!

I’m so excited to continue to expand on this journey beside you and it’s only possible BECAUSE of you.
