Dreams really do come true ✨

If you had told me in 2023, when I first arrived at Miles College that I would one day become the Miss of the entire institution - I wouldn’t have believed you.

Through hard work, dedication, and persistence, I’ve been blessed to accomplish something I once only dreamed of. I am deeply grateful for every person in my circle who believed in me, supported me, and guided me along this journey toward excellence.

It is with immense honor and gratitude that I can now introduce myself as Kendall Kheyenne Townsend, your 90th Miss Miles College Elect 💛

FAIRFIELD, AL. The Golden Bear legacy is in excellent hands! Congratulations to Kendall Townsend on her election as the 90th Miss Miles College for the 2026–2027 academic year.

A Junior Communications major, Kendall exemplifies the core values of scholarship, service, and leadership. She follows in the footsteps of her line sister, the 89th Miss Miles College, Joycelyn Tinker, ensuring a seamless transition of excellence within the Royal Court.

A POWERHOUSE OF LEADERSHIP. Kendall’s resume reflects a deep-rooted commitment to the student experience. Her roles across campus include:
• SGA Secretary of Student Activities: Managing vital campus-wide programming.
• President of the Campus Activities Board (CAB): Leading the charge for student engagement and school spirit.
• Official Hostess & Vice President: Serving the Gamma Pi Chapter of Alpha Kappa Alpha Sorority, Incorporated.

COMMUNICATIONS & CAMPUS IMPACT. A natural storyteller, Kendall is a prominent voice in the Communications Club, where she serves as an anchor and reporter for Miles College TV. Her influence extends further as a member of the National Council of Negro Women and as a former student-athlete in both Volleyball and Track & Field.

LEGACY & SISTERHOOD. Kendall also holds the distinguished title of Miss Black for the Gamma Kappa Chapter of Alpha Phi Alpha Fraternity, Incorporated, further showcasing her ability to bridge organizations and advocate for women’s empowerment and leadership.

A NEW REIGN BEGINS. With her background as an athlete, a scholar, and a premier student leader, Kendall is ready to lead the 90th reign with grace and dedication. Her vision for Miles College is rooted in uplifting every student and leaving a lasting mark on the institution she calls home.
