For years, my world was black, white, and gray. Every day, I dressed to meet corporate standards and expectations. I thought toning down my wardrobe would help my work shine without distraction. But I realized that perhaps by muting one part of myself that I was muting all parts of all myself… What would happen if I showed up in my life in my real hair? What if I showed up in my vibrant jewelry that I would only wear on weekends? That thought was terrifying. So I asked myself why? See I grew up in Kenya when bold color was seen as "uncivilized" . This mindset had taken root inside of me, and I realized it was time for a change I slowly started to step into the life I envioused for myself. A vibrant world that was limitless. A world I could truly be myself. I started this brand 8 years ago because I knew I wasn’t alone. I saw a shift happening where people wanted to show up as their authentic self everywhere in their lives. It became my life's mission to steward people who refuse to be muted by society.
