Forever grateful to have gotten the chance to call this place home for the summer. South Pacific and Newsies taught me so much about being an artist and being human - lessons that I cannot wait to bring into my future work. I have so much love for the people I met, befriended, and learned from - thank you for bringing me along for the ride.

Parade | IU Studio Theatre | February 2026

I will never be able to fully explain what this show has meant to me. At the end of my spring semester last year, I was told I would not have the opportunity to direct Parade on IU’s main stage as my thesis project. Two weeks later, I sat in front of my department’s faculty and told them I would be doing this show with or without departmental support.

And we didn’t need it. I have been blessed with the most incredible team that has ever lived - people who pushed past what was possible to tell this story. Here. Now.

We raised nearly $3000 - raising and reaching our fundraising goal twice. We connected people from colleges across IU’s campus to join us. We spoke to students and staff at IU Hillel. We wrestled Jason Robert Brown’s music and Alfred Uhry’s words. We questioned and we played and we learned and we taught.

On the day of our invited dress rehearsal, I sat next to @char_hottle @megangraylederman @elliotstrak.ki @jackson__santi and @leah.corcorann as we frantically sewed together one of the final pieces of our set between classes and meetings. I was struck with the family we had built around this show and how necessary this production was to each of us. I am still struck.

I would not have been able to do it alone. I am so grateful I didn’t have to try.

Thank you to everyone who found a place alongside me to tell this story. I am so full of love.

Don't get me wrong, the pretty, edited shots are coming, but first, I wanted to show my love and appreciation for these insanely talented, smart, beautiful artists who came together to bring DANCE NATION to life every night. I feel so lucky to have had a chance to see their brains at work - constantly finding new ways into their roles, constantly making new choices rooted in truth and joy.

I feel so lucky to have spent the past month at Shakespeare & Company’s Month-Long Intensive in Lenox, MA. January was spent delving into the beautiful and magical world of William Shakespeare alongside 24 of the most talented, smartest, and kindest artists. Alongside our stalwart faculty and staff, this group of strangers in the middle of nowhere were able to create some incredible theatre and some unspeakable joy.

The love I feel for this special group of people and this special town will stay with me forever. “Tina” on three!
