The Kurl Jam at Millfield Theatre was an evening to remember - full of culture, curls, and family vibes! From the warm welcome and amazing dances to curl consultations, panel talks, and a lively dance class! Complete with face painting and a kids’ corner! It was a fun-filled event from start to finish.

IM GIVING UP CURLY CUTS FOR A YEAR🥲🥹…why?

Well I can’t forget when @abitofjaz was doing my hair last year and she asked when was my last trim, I said ‘last week’ and the look she gave me had me questioning my whole existence😂😂

LONG SHORT, I love me a curly cut as I love cutting for shape, but with my new exciting focus being my length retention, I want to see how my hair thrives whilst cutting only what needs to be cut. Healthy ends means less breakage and and that means better length retention over time…hopefully🤞🏾

& I only paid £30🤩 so let’s try this ting for a year and see if it makes a difference😘

I WANT MY HAIR DOWN MY BACK….on my waist basically🤩 so I keep telling you lot I’m putting some focus on my scalp.

Healthy hair starts at the scalp and the @floracurl Coconut Mint line helps me do just that.

The process was slightly different and I had to sit with the clay mask on my hair for a while before rinsing and following up with the conditioner but look at my curls and ask me if I complained about it🤷🏾‍♀️😉

SYLVIA 2026✨💪🏾

After what’s been a life changing year. What a full circle moment I can announce today. I was moved by this show in 2022 and have had it on my bucket list ever since. Last year, I took a step back and lost a little love for performing so have been in my element with my students @platinumacademyarts ever since. But with @sylviamusicaluk marking my return to the stage this year, I really am blown away by the continuous blessings that continue to pour over me even in my lowest of times. This show is a movement and I can’t wait to be a part of it.

A real range of emotion will surround this show for me but I can’t wait to embrace that and get lost in the message of it.

For once I actually switched up my regular degular wash n go🤔 I’m a chicken when it comes to experimenting new styles, they stress me out but after the results I’m looking forward to trying more.
