🦋 HEY GUYSTH! After 5 billion years I am happy to announce that I am finally releasing music of my own in just a few weeks. 🥹👉🏽👈🏽

🦋 It took like 527 takes for me to make this video because I’ve been nervous and anxious, but today was the day I got the courage to tell y’all 🥲 I’m so proud of the song and how it sounds but mainly, I’m proud of ME. I’m finally stepping out of my shell and stepping into what God called me to do - musically, and all around as a WOMENZ - so this is for me.

🦋 I’m also dedicating the song to my baby nephew who is no longer with us. His passing pushed me into a whole other realm of thinking and I wanted to express that as well 🫶🏽

🦋 Additionally, I just want to share it all with all of YOU, and I hope you’re willing to come along on this journey with me 🌸

There are some announcements you type… and then there are some you just stare at for a second before posting because they don’t even feel real 🥹

I’m so excited to announce that I’ll be performing at the 47th Annual Tri-C JazzFest, here in Cleveland, OH! 🎶✨

Music has carried me through so many seasons of my life, and I know I never claim being an “ᵃʳᵗⁱˢᵗ”, but being invited to a stage with this kind of history and excellence means more than I can explain in one caption. It’s a 𝙝𝙪𝙜𝙚 honor to share space with so many incredible artists and musicians, on this platform, and in MY city!

🌸 Thank you to everyone who took the time to type or call to personally wish me a Happy Womb Eviction Day! I feel so loved! 🫶🏽

🌸 ‘Kenesha’ means 𝑩𝒆𝒂𝒖𝒕𝒊𝒇𝒖𝒍 and 𝑷𝒓𝒐𝒔𝒑𝒆𝒓𝒐𝒖𝒔. That, plus everything God calls me, 𝗜 𝗔𝗠. And I am affirming myself and walking in that for the 𝗿𝗲𝘀𝘁 𝗼𝗳 𝗺𝘆 𝗰𝘂𝘀𝘀𝗶𝗻𝗴 𝗹𝗶𝗳𝗲 🥰 This journey has been one of becoming, and I am overwhelmed with gratitude; thankful for life, for change, 𝗳𝗼𝗿 𝗣𝗲𝗿𝘀𝗽𝗲𝗰𝘁𝗶𝘃𝗲, and hopeful for my future.

🌸 Birthdays give me anxiety and flare up my PTSD, so I never actually celebrate, but they always yield introspection. This past year has been pretty cussing NUTS to say the least… yet, all I can come up with is gratitude. My heart is so full. God has been so gracious to me, and I am 𝗱𝗲𝗲𝗽𝗹𝘆 appreciative of every single experience that has shaped me to this point.

🌸 To every 𝙜𝙚𝙣𝙪𝙞𝙣𝙚 soul I’ve crossed paths with, thank you. To everyone who hated/hates me, thank you too, lol! All of your actions have been a 𝘴𝘪𝘨𝘯𝘪𝘧𝘪𝘤𝘢𝘯𝘵 part of my growth!! 🫂Nevertheless, I still harness nothing but 𝙇𝙊𝙑𝙀 to wield in the world 🥹

Huge thank you to Bishop @tveronhouse for having me. NewLife’s hospitality was unmatched, and I’m eternally grateful to have worshipped with you all! Coming right out of Pesach and the Feast of Unleavened Bread, it was such a beautiful way to cap off this sacred time.

Special shoutout to some of my NY family who drove hours just to support me—LOVE Y’ALL!! And Mubbie… YOU SANG!!! I’m full woman of God, lol.
