Women have always been resilient, women have always had to protect themselves, women have always been fighting. Women have adhered to every way to protect ourselves and yet we still take the blame. This is the ONLY crime that has absolutely no justification.
We were never meant to be submissive, shut up, and shrink ourselves.

If the news about the Cornell 7 doesn’t anger you, it should. Every woman has a story. Every single one. We are angry. This has happened for centuries, millennia. We want justice and consequences.

Not sure why people hate having brains so much, that they can’t acknowledge clothing doesn’t equate consent or promiscuity. And it’s not solely men, there are a few women in that bunch.

And Plavi Orkestar felt necessary seeing as my mom had the cassette tape and played it CONSTANTLY in the car when I was a kid.

AI could NEVER.

This is a traditional Croatian dress. Across the country there are different patterns for each region, this is Draganić (drahg-ah-knee-ch). It was my mother’s and it was made in Croatia for when she danced Kolo; a traditional dance. Our pride and culture is in every inch of what we do. I wear and have my Grb (crest) tattooed on me. My necklace was given to my mom by my late Baka (grandmother) and my mom gave it to me when I was 16.

It has a few wears and tears from age and usage. It’s 40 years old. And the entire dress was made by hand. Every stitch, every pleat was done by hand. I keep it very secured and under lock and key. It’s one of my most prized possessions.

And knowing my mom and Deda (grandpa) love these photos, means the world.

Thank you Kati for being so careful with this dress and capturing it so beautifully ❤️

Lose the fear, stop caring about what people think, the internet is fake, you are not behind. You don’t need to be perfect.

You do not need to be thinner or bigger or smarter or anything. We’ve been completely conditioned by a society that wants you to do well but never better than them. Eat the food. Take the photos. Dance. LIVE .
