Thank you AAU🫶🏻
It’s truly a blessing to have got to play over 7 years of travel basketball with the best group of people. Getting to travel the country to experience what it’s like to play at the next level. I want to say thank you to my parents first of all for taking time off work spending a lot of money and commitment to allow me to get to experience and enjoy travel basketball. I also want to the thank all of the people and coaches that have supported me through this journey all of the hard long days but also the laughs of teams dinners. The memories and best friends I’ve made are truly the best and i’ll never be able to thank the sport of basketball enough for bringing us together. # 22 out❤️ by @kenna_simons

We’re thrilled to shine a light on one of our incredible guest coaches: Kenna Simons! 💫

A standout at Fort Osage High School and a dedicated member of the elite MOKAN club, Kenna brings unmatched energy, experience, and leadership to the 40 Fire family.

On the court, Kenna is all gas, no brakes. 🏀

She’s earned Varsity honors three years running (2023, 2024, 2025), landed a spot on the EJC All-Area Team each of those years, and has been recognized on the All-Conference Teams in both 2024 and 2025. But the accolades don’t stop there—Kenna has consistently led her team in assists for three straight seasons and in steals for the past two, proving she’s as selfless as she is relentless.

Kenna is a true leader who understands the game and inspires the next generation. Her passion, court vision, and hustle are contagious, and we’re lucky to have her share that fire with our team. 🔥

Let’s give it up for Coach Kenna!
