Visiting the motherland for the first time felt like coming home to a place I had never been to. There was both a feeling of nostalgia but also completely foreign at the same time. I learned so much about my people, my culture, why my mom does things the way she does. I saw such a deep sense of hustle but also love and community. I saw my people build sketchy contraptions in flip flops to get the job done, and then dress to the 9s to go out with their friends at night. I learned that our culture goes so deep and that there’s so much more to learn about where my mom came from. I’ll be back soon.

It was great seeing yall @kavi.vu @zoeyyy45 @majesticmirth

I’ve been rediscovering my love of photography recently after so many years of working in only video production and filmmaking. It’s been so freeing creating for the sake of creating again and reminding myself why I do what I do.

Here are some of my favorites from my Vietnam trip and the camera that made me enjoy taking photos again. @fujifilmx_us X100V taken in Saigon, Vietnam by @kennayp

When your days grow old
Even the night turns cold
I dream of the soft look in your eyes
It’s soft like cotton, fluffy cloud in the sky
Woven with the passing centuries
Reflecting on the sweet memories
Painted canvases of time and space like fine art
It feels like fluffy teddy bear hugging my heart

제니 (JENNIE) - ‘like JENNIE’ Dance Cover (MMA Version)

Full version on youtube! (Checkout link in bio!!)

I finally back dancing — and what better reason than my birthday! Yes, my birthday was March 5th and we’re just now posting… but hey, better late than neverrrrr

This was such a fun personal project to celebrate getting back into dance after a long break. The MMA version of this performance is iconic!

Hope you enjoy watching as much as I enjoyed making it!

🖤 Thank you to everyone who made this happen!!
