Paloma Jade. My sweet p & little dove. 🕊️
Born on April 22, 2024, Mother Gaia’s day…the day she entered the world and became mine. This love i feel for her feels as though I have known and loved this sweet soul for many many lifetimes. I have never felt more grounded than when she entered my womb 41 weeks ago.

I labored for a little over 12 hours with my partner, my doula @liz_trantanella , the UOFL midwives @miraacarr , and my mother with the help of two UOFL nurses & two doctors when it came time to push. I told myself early on that I wanted to have Paloma naturally and although in the moment the pain was so other worldly I second guessed my decision, I am so thankful I had the support around me to remind me of my birth plan and goals I set for myself & was able to have her completely unmedicated.

What an amazing experience. The utmost rewarding experience I have ever had in my life. And I would do it over and over again just to have her.

I am so thankful for this beautiful life, my beautiful little family & the village God has blessed me with. I have never been more excited for the next phase of my life. Motherhood. 🍼 taken in Louisville, Kentucky by @kennduuh

I’m just really grateful that something I’ve loved for so long continues to help me discover new versions of myself.
