To My Parents,
I couldn’t go without giving a heartfelt thank you and deep appreciation to you both. You have truly supported me every step of the way. I know it wasn’t easy to let me go—moving away from home to create my own experience—but you did it with so much love and care. Through every rant, tear, laugh, scream, and accomplishment, you were there for every moment, every trip. I wouldn’t be who I am or where I am today without you. First and foremost, I want to thank God for His unwavering guidance and protection over the past 16 years. He has opened doors I never imagined, provided opportunities for growth, and allowed me to flourish in ways beyond my own strength. Through every season—both the highs and the lows—He has held my hand, and for that, I am eternally grateful.

To The Sport of Cheerleading,
Thank you for shaping me into the woman I am today. This sport has been one of my greatest teachers—through the long days, grueling practices, challenges, sweat, and tears, I’ve gained more than I could have ever imagined. My journey as an athlete has taught me the true meaning of grit, patience, and discipline. With the foundation this sport has laid, I know I am prepared—and destined—for greatness. While this chapter is coming to a close, it is only the beginning of my story.

To NCAT Cheer,
Although my time as an Aggie Cheerleader was unexpectedly cut short, I remain deeply grateful for the journey and every moment it gave me. It’s hard to believe that three years have already flown by. I still remember my very first home football game—standing on the sidelines, soaking it all in, in awe that I was cheering at the largest HBCU in the nation. My time at NCAT has been filled with growth, learning, and the opportunity to leave a meaningful legacy. ‘Better than Yesterday’ has become more than just a motto—it’s a personal promise to stay committed to the process and a constant reminder that there is always room to evolve, no matter the circumstance.

To TonaTwerkTeam,
I truly couldn’t have asked for a better team to lead. This season came with its share of challenges, but we always showed up day in & day out. You all embodied what it means to be the DREAM TEAM—with heart, drive, and unshakable faith. As we always said, ‘It don’t mean a thing ‘til that Twerk Team gets that ring’—and we did just that. I’m so proud of each of you. I wish you nothing but success in all your future endeavors, and I hope you continue to bring your light and energy into every space you enter. Love you all deeply.
