It's been a while, well not really. I post stories, I like stories, they are easy and casual. However I've been wanting to do more proper posts. The last few years have been alot, alot of working and dealing with life, when It's been calm I've mostly spent that time resting. Thus I've accumulated quite the back log of stuff so I feel like it's probably time try to breathe some life in my insta again.

First out is the film No Friend But The Mountains which I shot up in the mountains with @marit.shirin @melisadiktas and @cowsytrip under @humansandsoil . With music by @lunaersahin from @aysaymusic
We had the pleasure to have it screened this weekend @dansfilmfestivalen . Feels fitting to break my Insta hiatus with the trailer for it. Check out the full version on my YouTube (linked in bio) taken in Gurkfjället by @kenneth.ly

So the final YBP music video I worked on released this week together with their new album! Couldn't be more excited about it! It's probably my fav song on the album.
This time I got too shoot and color grade the live action scenes than that then got integrated with animation sequences. Amazing work from our director and such a fun end result. Check out the full version on the youtubes 😁.

It's been a little over a month since NärCon Sommar 2026 so why not dream back to it and think of the great memories we created together?

Enjoy this aftermovie "Paper Cranes" we produced with the independent filmmaker @kenneth.ly! 💖🌼🌸 by @kenneth.ly

I can finally announce! That this thursday about a month after the convention, @narcon will finally release the aftermovie that I made 🥳.

This is quite an important video for me. 8 years ago I started my official career as videographer and the first big project I made was my 2018 Närcon Aftermovie, at the time it was just a way to push and test myself. I also kinda ended up retiring from from the convention-world too.
I have now been doing this professionally for 8 years. So It felt fitting to come back to Närcon, a defining time of my youth and bokmark these 8 years by once again pushing myself to see how much I've grown. And this time in official collaboration with Närcon themselves and of course with my significant other @alexandra.swain as my in valuable assistant!
I am more than excited to finally share the final video with all of you and most importantly with everyone who participated in it!

(I can't tag all handles that has been given too me. I'll tag the rest in the comments😭)

P.S beyond the final Aftermovie there I will also release at the same time a compilation with Deleted Scenes and Shots that got cut, on my own channel. So that everyone who participated can get to see themselves and the people who made it to the final video can see themselves a little extra.

Just home from an excellent Närcon!
It's been wonderful and an honor to return after an 8 year hiatus with the support of @narcon themselves. The event is so much bigger now 🤯.

While my footage probably won't be delivered in time to make it to the deadline of NCs official aftermovie (Currently uploading as fast as possible). I'm excited to put together my own again and just so friggin stoked to make another one after almost 10 years.

In the meantime, my partner & assistant @alexandra.swain and other friends filmed some BTS of me and I also took some POV shots of me working. With all that, here is reel that was made on the train! (Even managed to squeeze in the improv show with @jurytjanst the one time I wasn' t filming)

Final thanks to all the collaborators and strangers for your enthusiasm. I'm always forever grateful for you giving me and my camera your time and letting us peak in!

My second Närcon Aftermovie, officially in post-production!... but first sleep...

Bought the super compact @viltrox.nordic 50mm Air lens. The remoteless electric skateboard, @liquidskateboard arrived soon after. In a week I'm going to @narcon to make an aftermovie and need to warm up abit. I havent posted in ages.
The lens is a life-saver sine I have to many large lenses and the Liquid skateboard rides like magic, doesn't even feel like an e-board.
So I just made a lill something.

Was Initially gonna post this as just a story but then I though why the heck not just post it to the main page?
I got such a back log and done so much stuff I'm actually proud of but haven't had the energy to post about. At the same time I have a bunch of exciting new upcomming projects and I hope to not only share those but to try to make more BTS content of it. I want the second half of 2026 to be when I wake this account back up again.

Next stop is Närcon Summer! Hope see and film some of you there and post lots of stories again! 🎥

Fun fact, for this entire interactive production we ended up doing 470 takes. Both successful and unsuccesful counted.
I'd like to try making more actual BTS-reels so here is a little peak behind the curtain for Raise Your Glass.

Ye Banished Privateers presents: New video RAISE YOUR GLASS, and a special surprise!

A new single is out, and we made this a very special one for you. Raise Your Glass is available on streaming services both for listening and watching, but we also prepared a different kind of experience for you. There is a playable interactive video version of the song, where you get to step into the ruffled boots of a very hungover Quick Fhinn, and give your own best (or worse) attempt to make your way out from Cooper’s Inn before your crew leave for the ship.

Check out the new video now, go ahead and enjoy our Quick Fhinn roleplay, and don’t forget to share your experiences and advice on how to make it to the ship on time with the beautiful community of Privateers of Libertalia here on facebook and on Discord!

Links in bio and on our website.
