My Grandfather’s 87th birthday is today, but the family and I played at his Celebration of Life a couple weeks ago. 🕊️ 👑

To my fam, we did it for Grandad. Our last tribute... I love yall boys. 💯🩵 he always loved our music when we played it for him so without hesitation, it’s only right we send him off as Kings ourselves.

Playing through pain and grief is no joke. When you watch these clips, understand, the last bits of strength we had was left right here. I remember 20-25yrs ago, we’d piece together anything we’d find at his house for instruments and here we are doing for the one who loved what we did. I don’t play drums as often as I used to, but had I never followed my Grandfather to his church 20yrs ago, I’d never be here nor still have the gift of knowing how to still play.

Much love to my guys pulling thru ! We were not there to entertain, we were there to use our gift to honor our God and our Main Guy; and hopefully move spirits in the right direction. 💯

Lastly, Happy Birthday to the King himself 👑
