Well I’m really “torn” about posting any opinion that could be perceived as remotely political but I think it needs to be said (I don’t hear anyone saying this yet on tv)that this tragic assasination attempt on former pres. Trump Could end up changing some attitudes/shift focus (including Trumps)to implementing some more sensible gun control laws (assault rifles/bump stock etc.) After all if Biden doesn’t drop out like it or not Trump will likely be elected president. It’s amazing to me that it take something like this to be a catalyst for change, let’s hope it doesn’t end up going sideways and sparking more violence. It is possible that something good could come out of it jmho by @kennetheaston

Got some power back last night and it’s still here in the morning, woo hoo! I think we have officially become a “preppers”over here now lol my takeaway from this is that we’re Way too accustomed to “convenience”./“mr. Roboto”.Definately a huge downside of rapid tech advancement not talked about very much, I feel for the younger generation never having experienced life without. After all, these conveniences are called “trappings” for a reason imho Only 5 days here without power plus alot of cleanup, building back etc. Nice little “reminder” of what’s what in a way. Now I think I’m gonna include in our “plan b” scouting out a place outside of the city if /when something more extended like this happens. Hope I have time/$ soon to save up for some kind of small rv/mobile home. Heart goes out to everyone still in the dark! Now back to my youtube videos lol by @kennetheaston
