Yes, Kendall is young. Yes, she was already beautiful. But neither of those things tells the whole story. We all love a super dramatic before and after but not all results have to be exaggerated Sometimes, plastic surgery done well can have people saying “She just looks better and I don’t know why or what they had done!”

So let’s talk about Kendall, after significant weight loss, prior buccal fat removal, and previous chin liposuction that depleted portions of the superficial fat layer of her neck, she was left with premature laxity and descent of the lower face and neck. In relaxed photographs this could appear subtle.

This is where understanding the anatomy matters.
Could I have performed an isolated neck lift and achieved a good result? Absolutely. But the goal was not simply a good result. It was a comprehensive, anatomically appropriate correction designed to last.

I chose a ❇️ Deep Plane Face and Neck Lift with Fat Grafting because her laxity did not exist in isolation in the neck. By releasing and repositioning the deeper tissues of the lower face and neck along the appropriate vectors, I was able to restore support where it had been lost and securely anchor those tissues rather than relying on tension at the skin.

The result is an almost complete correction of her lower face and neck laxity, a beautifully defined cervicomental angle and creation of a much more feminine jawline.

Most people think the operation ends when the procedure is finished. I don’t.

I probably spend more time on incision closure than I need to because I believe that’s where great scars begin. Although I have a few, the Running-X suture is one of my favorite advanced suture techniques because it helps distribute tension more evenly, maintains precise skin edge alignment/eversion, and creates an excellent environment for healing particularly for the face.

But here’s the part that often gets overlooked. Knowing what a running X suture is doesn’t mean it can be executed the same way. Like everything in plastic surgery, the difference is in the judgment, consistency, and attention to detail behind every pass.

Maybe it’s obsessive. I think it’s respect for the result and more importantly for the patient.

The last stitch matters.

This already beautiful patient had concerns about her excess upper eyelid skin that made makeup difficult, and lower lid bags she had lived with for years that gradually became more noticeable. The overall feeling was always looking a bit more tired than she actually felt.

Three months after an upper and lower blepharoplasty with fat grafting, her eyes appear more open, smoother, and naturally refreshed.

Although I love and prefer the complexity and artistry of facial aesthetic surgery, when I perform breast surgery - I approach it with the same level of precision and thoughtfulness.

This lovely, highly active patient came in with mild asymmetry and a desire for a touch more volume. Her tissue quality was excellent, her shape was already there, and she didn’t need a lift. The plan was simple… refine, balance, enhance.

Procedure Performed:

❇️Subfascial breast augmentation

Right - 265 cc Motiva Ergonomix
Left - 215 cc Motiva Ergonomix

For patients like her, subfascial placement is a beautiful middle ground. It avoids disruption of the muscle while still providing a bit more coverage and support than placing the implant directly under the breast tissue. Especially for active women, this can mean basically no animation, a smoother recovery, and in her case… essentially minimal to no pain post procedure.

She’s back to her routine, feeling balanced, confident, and completely herself… just elevated.

My approach is always bespoke. Listen first, design second, operate last.

I’m very grateful to my lovely patient and couldn’t be happier for her! My role is to listen first, design with purpose, and operate with precision. This is where art and science come together through a bespoke, individualized approach. The intention is never to change someone’s identity, but to refine and elevate what already exists.

In a revision setting, where the details of a prior facelift are not fully known, a SMAS plication approach offers a controlled and reliable way to restore contour. It allows for refinement while respecting deeper planes that may have already been altered.

I have a deep appreciation for the deep plane facelift which I routinely love to perform. When indicated, it is one of the most powerful techniques we have and can provide beautiful midface elevation.

But not every patient needs a deep plane and not every situation benefits from it, especially in revision surgery.

The responsibility is to understand what the patient actually needs, respect the existing anatomy, and choose an approach that delivers the result safely and intentionally.

✨#ClosedRhinoplasty ✨

This patient loved her nose from the start. The width felt right, the tip felt like her. It was the dorsal hump that never quite matched and has bothered her for many years.

A hump is rarely just bone! It is a complex of bone, upper lateral cartilage, and septum that must be treated as a whole to create a smooth, natural line, or slope in some cases. In this patient’s case, she wanted to preserve her overall identity and have a very natural result, not overdone.

At three months, she is already looking beautifully balanced. There is still a touch of soft tissue swelling, which is expected. Over the next several months, the skin will continue to thin, the structure will settle, and the definition will only improve.

The best results in rhinoplasty are not rushed. They reveal themselves with time, and when done thoughtfully, they never look operated on.
