my whole life i’ve felt my body screaming at me. it felt like something deep inside was calling out to me. “there is more more more, keep finding it”.
the call of the void also sung a low siren song in my ears since before i entered high school. it made living seem like a long daunting task that i had very little interest in pursuing.
to make a very long story short, i’ve been through numerous life events that i wouldn’t wish upon those who’ve done the worst of things to me.
but now?

there is a deep sense of pride i feel in living my life.
there’s a sort of defiance i feel in me that i’ve been rejecting for so long; im sort of in a game of chicken with the universe that i plan on winning.
i couldn’t be where i am today without the beautiful people i have around me now.
they’ve lifted me up when im at my lowest, been patient with me when ive struggled the hardest, and kept me light when my world seemed its darkest.

i couldn’t say any of this without also thanking the love of my life.
my partner and absolute best friend.
how nice it is to know that we’ve already gotten through the “in sickness and health” part together. regardless of any phase of life you and i go through, i know we will face it together with so much love, patience, and understanding. ive never felt so utterly known by somebody. and how lucky i feel to know you.
i adore everything about you and look forward to forever with you. <3

to anyone who has any doubts about what the future holds for you, i want to assure you that everything happens in its own time. you can’t rush to make things bend to your will, much of my life i’ve had to learn how to flow with the tide. i have no doubt i will get everything i truly want in this life, i must simply have the courage to keep living to see it.
honor yourself as much as you honor the people around you and you will find inner bliss.
