In grade 5, Grady’s teacher gave each kid a personalized ruler. Grady’s adjectives were ‘loyal’ and ‘friendly’ and those words still ring true today. Grady, we celebrate this milestone with you and are so proud of you and excited for your next chapter. Make plans that scare you, limit your ‘always’ and your ‘nevers’, ignore the critics, chase happiness, know that failure is ok and the greatest teacher, be kind, save, work hard- you can’t climb the ladder with your hands in your pockets, travel, love deeply, laugh, make your bed every day, be curious, and always, always be you 🤍. Growing up in Whistler has been such a gift, obviously for its natural beauty, but mostly for the community we’ve made. You have the best crew that reminds me of an old saying: “Show me your friends and I’ll tell you who you are”Time to spread your wings and fly, kiddo! Love you, Mom and Dad. by @kennygemmill
