Formidable isn’t size. It’s structure.

One of the biggest lessons I’ve learned from working with businesses across Africa is this:

Growth isn’t limited by ambition.
It’s limited by structure.

The businesses that scale aren’t always the biggest or the best funded. They’re the ones that build systems, empower people, and create processes that continue to work even when the founder isn’t in the room.

It was a privilege to share this perspective at ATE Lagos 2026.

A big thank you to everyone who attended, asked thoughtful questions, and continued the conversations long after the session ended.

March truly felt like Women’s Month in every sense.

Across Nigeria and Ghana, we hosted the Zoho Women in Business Summit 2026 and it was nothing short of inspiring. Bringing together so many brilliant women in one space was a powerful reminder that when the right platforms and communities exist, incredible things happen.

Women across our ecosystem are doing remarkable work. They are building, leading, creating, and shaping the future in meaningful ways. Moments like this matter because they create room for connection, shared growth, and the kind of conversations that spark even greater impact.

I am deeply grateful to our keynote speakers in both Nigeria and Ghana, and to every panelist who showed up with insight, honesty, and purpose. You made these experiences truly special.

One of my favourite moments was celebrating the amazing women within our own team. It was a proud and fulfilling reminder that the strength of what we build externally is rooted in how we support and appreciate our people internally.

Here is to the women who continue to rise, to lead, and to inspire.

“People don’t just buy products. They buy into how you make them feel.”

@kennyjobby , Country Manager at @zohoafrica , shared a simple but overlooked truth:
client relationships go beyond buying and selling.

People need to feel “or at least believe” that you like them. That you care. That you’re not just there to close a deal.

Because when there’s no relationship, there’s no loyalty, it’s just transactions.
